Update #007 - Setting ourselves up for success
TLDR - (short version)
We've selected an experienced manufacturer for Vext and ordered our first manufacturing prototype. Christian focuses on refining the Vext app UI based on customer feedback. Vincent advances electronics setup while designing the next mainboard and managing parts orders. Niklas secures positive outcomes in logistics, office space, and funding meetings.
Manufacturing prototypes
We've now chosen a perfect manufacturer for Vext. They are very experienced and we have a lot of opportunities to grow with them. We've now ordered our first manufacturing prototype, after we've checked the finish we'll order a second batch that will be 90% representable of the units we'll deliver to our customers.
Vext app
Christian's been working on the UI for the Vext app, testing different designs, and gathering feedback. The initial app will be minimalist, with features added based on customer feedback. We want to use our time on the things that really matter to our customers!
Electronics
Vincent has been working on our electronics setup for the last week, while we wait for the LEDs to arrive, he's been designing our next mainboard, and ordering pumps and parts. Next up he'll be going back to working on the software side of Vext.
Logistics, office space, and funding
Niklas has continued his multitool abilities, taking on logistics meetings, office space meetings as well as funding meetings with Banks. All of which he's come out of with great news! Shipping costs for Vext are now under control, we've been accepted to Maria01 and received a green light for funding via our bank of choice.
