Update #017 - Bad news and Good news
TLDR - (short version)
We're experiencing a delay due to manufacturers' summer vacations and now expect to start deliveries in the 2nd week of September. We're using this time to upgrade and simplify the light design for better reliability and aesthetics. The app is undergoing internal testing, with ongoing improvements to the backend.
Delays caused by summer vacations
We've updated our order holders about delays, the current estimate is deliveries starting during the 2nd week of September. The delays have been caused by manufacturers going on summer vacations, causing extended delivery timelines.
Delays enable us to make an upgrade.
Vincent found a way to make use of the delay by making one final upgrade to the lights, simplifying their design to make them more reliable and better looking. He's also been helping Fatih with setting up the backend for the App.
Starting to receive parts
Even with the delays we've begun receiving many of the parts like the watering system, fans, nutrient bottles, plant pod holders and more. You can never be sure with shipping times, so every part received is always great news for us.
App update
The app is now getting tested internally with our cabinets, Fatih is working quickly to improve it every day. Recently he's been focusing on the backend, making sure everything works smoothly and reliably.
