Update #019 - Upgrades & Focus!

TLDR - (short version)
As a thank you for your patience, we're upgrading all first batch cabinets to Founders Edition cabinets! (read more below) And despite opening the second batch of orders, our main focus remains on ensuring a great experience for first batch customers. We've recently received lot's of parts for the first batch cabinets. And we're also testing over 15 plant varieties to offer more options beyond the basics!

Upgrade for our first batch customers
As a thank you for your patience we've decided to upgrade all the cabinets from the first batch to founders edition cabinets, this means all cabinets in the first batch will be numbered and will include access to advanced automation features even if you don't have a membership.

Focus on existing customers
Even though we've opened up our second batch of orders, we've made the conscious decision to give our full attention to the first batch of customers for as long as we can, to make sure they have a great experience with Vext.

Batch one parts
Parts for your cabinets are starting to pile up at our office and are just waiting to be assembled! We've worked together with our suppliers to improve their parts, improving corrosion resistance, safety, tolerances and aesthetics.

Increasing plant pod variety
We've begun testing 15+ plant varieties to enable Vext users to grow more than just the basics. Not every plant will have what we're looking for, in those cases we'll keep testing and looking for other varieties to find the best ones.
