We recently sent an email to our Vext 1.0 users outlining everything that has changed since the very first version. The responses stopped us in our tracks.
Not just because of the encouragement, but because they reminded us how much progress can happen in a single year when the goal is clear and the standards are high.
When we started Vext, we had a simple but ambitious vision: to become the gold-standard smart garden for European homes. Effortless to use, generous in yield, and so beautiful it earns its place in your living space.

From day one, we set out to build a garden that anyone could succeed with. Something easy to set up, easy to maintain, and capable of producing fresh greens and vegetables for meals, not only decoration. Just as important, we wanted it to be something you are proud to display in your home.
Vext 1.0 proved the foundation was right. It grew delicious greens with far less effort than traditional gardening. But we also knew it wasn’t the final version. Not even close.

Building Vext 2.0

The past year has been fully dedicated to getting Vext 2.0 ready for the world.We listened carefully to our first customers. We refined the growing system. We rebuilt components, redesigned parts, and tested prototype after prototype. Every decision was deliberate. Because building something this ambitious, and building it properly, takes time.
The result is a system that fades into the background of your life while quietly doing its job better than ever.
With adaptive care, Vext 2.0 automatically manages watering, nutrient delivery, and lighting schedules based on each plant’s type and age. Improved airflow and new sensors create a more stable growing environment. The design has been refined to feel calm and intentional in your home, while upgraded materials and safety features ensure it is built to last for years.

  • Improved plant starter requiring fewer refills and easier pod removal
  • Flat-packed delivery in two boxes for safer transport

  • Fog tank now empties automatically

  • Magnets are no longer glued, preventing detachment over time
  • Significantly reduced fog leakage to avoid excess moisture buildup
