about nutrients.
Yes. They do different jobs: Grow builds leaves and roots, Bloom takes plants through flowering and fruiting. Leafy greens and herbs lean on Grow, tomatoes, peas, and strawberries need Bloom to set fruit. The cabinet decides when to use which.
A cabinet uses around 300ml of each over a four-month growing cycle, so one bottle of Grow and one of Bloom covers a full round of pods. Heavier planting uses a little more.
Pour each bottle into its own reservoir behind the cabinet door. There is no measuring or mixing — the cabinet doses from there and tells you in the app when a reservoir is running low.

The cabinet is calibrated for the Vext two-part formula, and its dosing and warnings assume that concentration. Other nutrients can throw the dosing off or clog the fogger, so we do not recommend them.
The formula is a concentrated mineral fertiliser, so keep the bottles closed and out of reach like any household cleaner. Once dosed into the cabinet it is diluted to the level plants use, and the food you harvest is ready to eat after a rinse.
